Alastair Collins

Alastair studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) where he gained a BA(Hons) and PGDipMus (Performance).

Since then, Alastair has gained a wealth of experience at several prestigious Scottish schools teaching piano, woodwind, theory and rehearsing and conducting. Influenced by film and games of the 1980s and 1990s, Alastair has composed the music for over 12 video games.

A particular love of late Romantic and early 20th Century orchestral music leads him to attend concerts in Glasgow's concert halls. When not thinking about or playing music, Alastair has a keen interest in the science of the universe and good coffee!
