Guitar Tutor - Aidan Harvey
Aidan is a professional musician whose practice includes touring the UK and Europe as a session guitarist, working across original music, musical theatre and cover band work.
Alongside performance, he composes for film and video games and works in music production and live electronic performance.
Further, he is an Associate Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University, where he holds a PhD in music education, an Associate Music Mentor at the University of the Highlands and Islands. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and has supported programme and operations work for the US-based Association for Popular Music Education.
Across all of this, Aidan looks to draw his varied experience together to give students a broad, versatile foundation that treats music learning holistically and equips them to go on and pursue whatever direction they choose.
