George Hillier

George was born in Canterbury, Kent. He started learning the violin at the age of 5 and picked

up a viola for the first time when he turned 10.

George was a member of several musical organisations such as the National Children’ss Orchestra, the National Youth String Orchestra and Kent County Youth Orchestra.

George graduated from the RCS studying with Dr Lev Atlas and Jane Atkins and has been working at Wells cathedral School for the last year.
