Steven Stark

Steven attended Bell Baxter and then moved to The National Centre for Excellence in Traditional Music, Plockton High School. He then continued his musical education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland studying on the Trad Music course.

Since graduating from the RCS in 2018 Steven has created a busy work life with his band Ragin’ Ceilidh Band giving him opportunities to perform all over the world and at festivals such as Belladrum and Glastonbury.

Steven has also grown a busy teaching career and particularly enjoys encouraging his students to do well in their exams whilst encouraging them to have a well-rounded knowledge in drumming for many different genres so that they become mature, confident individuals able to collaborate and perform confidently.
